Steel company ArcelorMittal has issued bonds quoted in dollars. The company reported this without revealing further details.

According to ArcelorMittal, the funds will be used for general corporate purposes, such as debt repayments and for financing obligations related to the acquisition of Essar Steel, India.

Bloomberg news agency reports based on insiders that it is a bond with a maturity until July 16, 2024 that must yield 750 million dollars and a bond with July 16, 2029 that is worth 500 million dollars.
