Export of goods from the euro zone countries to the rest of the world increased by 7.1 percent in May compared to a year earlier. A total of € 203.4 billion was implemented in that month. The European statistical office Eurostat reported this on the basis of a provisional estimate. Imports from the nineteen euro countries rose by 4.2 percent on an annual basis to a value of 180.3 billion euros. This resulted in a trade surplus of 23 billion euros.
