Dutch institutional investors gain access to the domestic Chinese capital market. The Chinese central bank determined that on Wednesday.

It is the first time that Dutch investment funds have access to the domestic capital market in China. The central bank has allocated a quota for this to Dutch investors of 50 billion yuan, equivalent to 6.4 billion euros.

Asset manager Robeco says he is pleased with the decision. CEO Gilbert van Hassel speaks of an important step to serve national and international customers even better. In its own words, Robeco will actively investigate how a part of this allocated quota can be claimed.
