Vivienne de Leeuw will take on the position of financial director of the Port of Rotterdam Authority as of 1 July. She then succeeds Paul Smits, who retires after eight years as financial director of the Port Authority.

In the past, De Leeuw (1975) was financial director at RTL Nederland and worked at KPN. In October last year, Smits announced that he would leave at the end of his term to take a new step in his career. Since June 2011, Smits was financially responsible for the Port Authority.

Allard Castelein, CEO of the Port Authority, looks forward to working with De Leeuw and points to her strong financial background and broad experience. “Vivienne is a welcome addition to our management team.”
