Justice in Germany suspects the Porsche car brand officially in tampering with diesel engines. Public prosecutors in Stuttgart have started an investigation into the Volkswagen part. Authorities in April already raided at locations of the sports car manufacturer. Those actions in the spring were directed against three employees of Porsche, including a board member. They were suspected of deceit and deception. Parent company Volkswagen was the pivot in a large diesel scandal that came to light in 2015. The German car group has been found to have emitted diesel engine emission values during emission tests. Volkswagen has already pulled tens of billions for settlements, fines and damages as a result of the scandal. Porsche has already been investigated before because of the diesel scandal. In the autumn of 2016, the brand recalled diesel cars of the Macan type. A year later, the Cayenne with 3 liters of diesel engine was banned by the German traffic minister.
