Life A$AP Rocky case proceedings to start at Tuesday By WeeklyNews staff Posted on July 25, 2019 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ The Stockholm court will examine the case of A$AP Rocky and his entourage from Tuesday. The rapper and two friends are suspected of severe abuse. Justice in Sweden is afraid that the American will leave the country when he is released, so A$AP has to await his trial behind bars. Serious abuse is punishable in Sweden for a maximum of two years, but the public prosecutor does not expect that to come. “We don’t think of such a severe punishment,” Daniel Suneson told Aftonbladet. He does not yet want to reveal which punishment the prosecutor finds appropriate. If A$AP is convicted, he will serve his sentence in Sweden. “If the court finds that this deserves a longer prison sentence than the time he is in custody, he will serve that sentence out here,” the judge’s lawyer said during a press conference. A$AP Rocky has been stuck since the beginning of this month after being involved in a fight in central Stockholm on 30 June. The rapper maintains that he has not committed a crime. He would only have defended himself. Two men would have harassed A$AP Rocky and his retinue, which resulted in a scuffle. Now that the rapper has been officially charged, more details are coming out. The public prosecutor, who said he had more video than circulated on the internet, revealed that a bottle was waved during the fight. By whom, he does not want to say yet.
