Life ABBA comeback takes longer to arrive By weekster Posted on September 15, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ The grandly announced comeback from ABBA will take even longer. Björn Ulvaeus now says that the new songs will only be heard next year. “But I’m not going to mention a date,” he said at the BBC on Friday. Ulvaeus did not say why the comeback was delayed again. Two new songs were supposed to be released last December, but the project was delayed for unclear reasons. This spring Ulvaeus aimed for “September or October” because the video with the digital avatars of the band members was not yet finished. The songs, I Still Have Faith In You and Don’t Shut Me Down, are interpreted in the videos by digital versions of Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Anni-Frid. There must also be a special ABBA avatar tour later, a ‘digital tour’, with holograms based on what the foursome looked like in the 70s.
