Life ABBA member Björn Ulvaeus distributes free textbooks By weekster Posted on December 18, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Swedish musician Björn Ulvaeus, known as one of the four members of ABBA, has already given high school students a Christmas present. The 74-year-old artist has made available about 111,000 books that teachers in Sweden can request for free, reports Reuters. Björn argues that students learn early on how to recognize ‘fake news’. According to the musician, students learn that through the book Alternative Facts – About Knowledge And Its Enemies by professor Åsa Wikforss. Björn believes it is important that young people learn to think more critically, but he also sees the work as a suitable Christmas gift, he said. The book, which comes from a publisher of which the Swede is co-owner, teachers can request for free. It is a requirement that it is used in a certain way in class.
