Life Britney Spears father no longer has legal authority By weekster Posted on September 12, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ A judge from Los Angeles granted Jamie Spears’ request to be no longer legally responsible for his daughter Britney until January 20, 2020. Care manager Jodi Montgomery will take over this task from him for the time being. It is her job to support the singer and provide any kind of care, Billboard reports. Jodi is no stranger to Britney, she has been working as her care manager for a year. According to the court document, the appointment of Jodi is in the interest of the pop princess. Jamie submitted a request to change his role on 5 September. He gave personal health reasons for this, but American media suspect that it also has something to do with the report that Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline has made against him. He claims that Father Spears would have grabbed their 13-year-old son Sean too roughly during a fight.
