Far Away Places is one of the last songs the musician has worked on before his death in 2017. The teenager wrote the song when she was twelve years old, her father produced it in his studio in Miami. The song was previously used in a short film by a family friend of the Cornells. Far Away Places is Toni’s first single, but she has been singing for much longer. At the age of eleven she was already on stage with her father at one of his concerts, in which they sang Bob Marley’s Redemption Song together. Earlier this year the teenager performed that song again, now with Bob’s son Ziggy Marley during a memorial concert for her father. Besides Toni, Chris had two more children: son Christopher of thirteen and oldest daughter Lillian, who is now nineteen.
