According to Deadline, the publisher took the picture in which Batman throws a molotov cocktail from Twitter and Instagram. The image, which is also on the cover of comic Dark Knight Returns: The Golden Child, features the text ‘The future is young’. According to pro-China opponents of campaigners, this is a tribute to the mostly young demonstrators in Hong Kong. The controversial design will appear on the comicbook, which will be released on December 11.
