Not only because of the start of Disney +, but also because there are all kinds of new superhero films on the schedule. Previously, Disney announced that it was working on various projects for the so-called Marvel Cinematic Universe. And five more films are added. All 23 Marvel films fall under this Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). That means that they are all connected and we can see the characters in different films again. The films are divided into different parts and with the appearance of Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home last summer, the third part of the series has come to an end. Fans cannot wait anyway. And that’s not surprising, because the first titles are promising. So far, six films have been announced, all of which are part of the fourth part of the series. For example, Scarlett Johansson in the role of Black Widow will get his own film, a fourth Thor film with a female Thor is coming up and Doctor Strange and Spider-Man will both receive a follow-up film. The popular Black Panther film will also be continued in 2022. These films will all be released between 2020 and 2022. Whether or not that is enough, eight series are also being made for Disney +, which also respond to the films. To make it all a bit more manageable, Disney adds five more films to the line-up, with which they can move forward until 2023. According to The Hollywood Reporter, five more Marvel films will be released on October 7, 2022, February 17, 2023, May 5, 2023, July 28, 2023, and November 3, 2023. What titles these are has not yet been announced, but fans think they can guess which titles it concerns. For example, director James Gunn is working on Guardians of the Galaxy full. 3, a third Ant-Man is planned and a Captain Marvel 2 is also in the making. In addition, Kevin Feige, head of Marvel, already hinted that the popular series The Fantastic Four, X-Men and Blade are also coming to the MCU. Previously this was not possible due to rights of the series, but thanks to the acquisition of Fox by Disney this problem is gone. Ryan Reynolds is also in conversation with Marvel to introduce the popular character Deadpool in the MCU.
