Life Disney has removed #MeToo joke from Toy Story 2 By WeeklyNews staff Posted on July 3, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Walt Disney has quietly taken a joke out of the credits in a re-release of the animated film Toy Story 2. In a so-called blooper scene, the mustache gold digger doll named Stinky Pete makes an unfair proposal to two Barbies and that seems impossible in the current #MeToo era. Stinky Pete asks the two Barbies, who both wear short skirts, if they are identical. He laughs, grabs the hand of one of the Barbies and then says that he can give them a role in Toy Story 3. The old gold digger notices that the cameras are running, after which he nervously sends the Barbies away, but not before he has once again looked closely at their bottom. The scene is reminiscent of the stories about producer Harvey Weinstein who offered various actresses career opportunities in exchange for sex. Disney and Pixar boss John Lasseter recently resigned due to inappropriate behavior.
