Life Glastonbury festival announces Taylor Swift as headliner Posted on December 17, 2019 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ The rumors that have been going on for some time have been confirmed: Taylor Swift is one of the headliners at the Glastonbury festival. The singer will be on stage in England on Sunday 28 June 2020, as Taylor and Glastonbury confirm on Twitter on Sunday evening. “I see you there” “I am thrilled to be able to say that I am one of the headliners at the 50th edition of Glastonbury. I see you there,” Taylor writes on Twitter. Michael Eavis, the festival’s boss, describes the American singer as “one of the biggest stars in the world” and calls her songs “fantastic”. Last month there were rumors about a possible performance by Taylor. Festival boss Eavis hinted in a radio interview that he had the headliners around for the 2020 edition. One of them was a woman, he said. Attentive fans saw that Taylor still had a place in her agenda on Sunday. Glastonbury will be held traditionally from 24 to 28 June next year in the small village of Pilton, a few kilometers from Glastonbury. The headliner on Saturday is Paul McCartney, as was announced earlier.
