Life Grace Jones left James Bond #25 cast By WeeklyNews staff Posted on July 3, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Another setback for Bond #25 movie. As if a departed director, wounded stuntman and explosion were not enough, actress Grace Jones now also leaves the cast. She arrived on the set and decided to leave shortly thereafter. Grace Jones played the role of May Day in A License to Kill (1985). Already in April it was rumored that Jones would play in a Bond movie again, presumably another version of May Day. The films with Daniel Craig take place in a different reality than previous Bond films. According to the British gossip newspaper The Sun, Grace Jones quickly decided to leave. She thought she had a big role, but it turned out to be only cameo and she left the cast. It was annoying for the producers, who were left frustrated after spending a lot of money on arranging a nice hotel near the Pinewood Studios. The scene with Jones, incidentally, was apparently intended as a crowd pleaser, but he will not go on now. The film will be in cinemas in April 2020.
