Life HBO again in court for Leaving Neverland By weekster Posted on October 23, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ HBO goes to court again in the long-running dispute with the relatives of Michael Jackson. The channel appeals against a previous decision rejecting HBO’s request to reject the case. In Leaving Neverland, Michael Jackson is accused of abuse with two minors. The managers of the King of Pop estate claim that HBO committed a breach of contract with the broadcast in March. They refer to an agreement from 1992, drawn up because the broadcaster broadcasted a concert registration, which states that HBO may not humiliate or disgrace the singer. HBO states that the contract in question was terminated when both parties had met their obligations in the early 1990s and demanded that the case be dropped at a session in September. The judge ruled against the channel, and according to The Hollywood Reporter HBO is now going to another court to appeal.
