HBO won 32 awards this weekend and the previous, in which more technical and smaller prizes were distributed. Netflix won 27 Emmys in the two weekends, Amazon came in third with 15 prizes. HBO managed to add nine awards to the proceeds of last week’s Creative Arts Emmy’s. Game Of Thrones won two more awards, for best drama series and best supporting role by Peter Dinklage. Bill Hader won the award for best actor in a comedy, the makers of Last Week Tonight With John Oliver also got two Emmy’s and drama series Succession won an award for best script. Mini series Chernobyl also scored well during the Sunday presentation: the show won for best direction, best screenplay and best mini series. Game Of Thones won the most Emmys at the serial level; the fantasy series added 12 to the collection. Chernobyl ran away with 10 Emmy’s, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel won a total of 8 awards.
