Hilary Swank will be honored at the Locarno film festival next month for her entire oeuvre. The two-time Oscar winner receives the Leopard Club Award, a prize for an important film personality who has had a lasting influence on the collective imagination.

44-year-old Swank started her career with a role in Beverly Hills, 90210. She later starred in films such as Boys Don’t Cry and Million Dollar Baby for which she received an Oscar.

Previous winners of the Leopard Club Award include Faye Dunaway, Mia Farrow, Andy Garcia and Adrien Brody. Last year the prize went to Meg Ryan.

It was also announced on Wednesday that the film Instinct, the directorial debut by Halina Reijn, will premiere at the Swiss film festival. The festival takes place from 7 to 17 August.
