He explains that in an interview with Billboard. “He is one of my all-time favorites,” admits Lambert, who as a singer has been filling up the place of the late Freddy Mercury for many years with Queen. “If I sometimes think ‘how should I approach this piece vocally?” I always think “what would Prince do?” The 37-year-old singer released his latest album Velvet: Side A on Friday, with songs inspired by Prince on it. Next year, Side B must be released.
