Life Jennifer Aniston honest about higher salary than her Friends colleagues By weekster Posted on October 27, 2019 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Salary differences are a thing in Hollywood. Usually it is about inequality between men and women, but for Jennifer Aniston (50) it was a little different. The Friends actress got more than her colleagues. And she felt guilty about that, she reports in Radio Times. “I didn’t feel good about my salary being higher” Jennifer and her friends received astronomical amounts for Friends, especially towards the end of the iconic sitcom. The blonde even raked in one million dollars per episode in the last season, but her colleagues a lot less. “I’ve always had it easy in this industry, I know,” Jennifer explains. “For us it was not so much about unequal payment between men and women, in the sense that women sometimes got more than men.” But Jennifer didn’t just leave it at that. The blonde thought it was unfair if she earned more money than her Friends friends. “As a matter of principle, I thought we should all receive the same wage because we were doing the same work,” she tells Radio Times. “I didn’t feel good about my salary being higher.” Together they managed to get the same amount. And it is not so strange that all friends were expecting the same salary slip. Friends has always been wildly popular and even 25 years after the premiere the actors continue to make a furore.
