Life Kanye West launches long-awaited Sunday Service album By weekster Posted on December 27, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Kanye West has kept his word. Two months after the release of his repeatedly postponed album Jesus is King, he releases a second album. Jesus is Born, inspired by his famous Sunday Service, saw the light of day on Wednesday evening and is featured on streaming services such as Spotify and iTunes. There are no fewer than nineteen gospel songs on the album, including Count your blessings, That’s how the good lord works and Satan, We’re going to tear your kingdom down. The same songs are also sung on his Sunday Service, the musical ‘church service’ that the rapper organizes every week. Jesus is King appeared in October after the release was delayed several times. The album was supposed to be released in September, but Kanye kept tinkering with the songs because he was not satisfied with the result. Then he also promised to release a second album at Christmas.
