Life Kanye West will only make religious music By weekster Posted on October 1, 2019 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Fans of rapper Kanye West can finally listen to the new album Jesus is King on Sunday. With the gospel album, West is taking a completely new path, and he has already informed fans in Chicago that he will no longer devote himself to secular music. This is reported by sources on Twitter who attended the concert in the American city. Many fans were disappointed on Friday because the rapper had promised to release the album on that day. That did not happen then. A small group did get a taste during a Sunday Service performance in Detroit. Songs have titles such as “Follow God” and “Use This Gospel,” so it is clear that West is devoting himself to his Christian faith. The fact that he will now totally abstain from non-religious music and only make gospel music comes as a shock to some. Kanye’s previous album, Ye, was released in June last year. Jesus is King was announced shortly thereafter, under the name Yandhi, and would be released in September or November of that year. So fans have had to wait a while for West’s ninth album.
