Life Kevin Spacey’s attorney denies deal with massage therapist By weekster Posted on January 4, 2020 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Kevin Spacey did not pay the relatives of one of his accusers to get rid of a lawsuit. That says a fallen actor lawyer against The Los Angeles Times, after it became known that the civil case that a now deceased masseur against Spacey has filed out of the job. “Contrary to what some news reports claim, Mr. Spacey did not pay any money to “settle the lawsuit,” said lawyer Jennifer L. Keller to the newspaper. According to her, the relatives decided to cancel the civil case. The criminal proceedings were already stopped in October after the alleged victim, a masseur who said he had become a victim of Spacey in 2016, suddenly died. The prosecutor concluded at the time that “the allegations of sexual abuse cannot be proven without the assistance of the victim”. Spacey has always denied the incident. The 60-year-old actor was first accused of sexual misconduct in October 2017 by actor Anthony Rapp. Many more stories followed about Spacey’s cross-border behavior. Civil and criminal cases were dismissed in the US state of Massachusetts last summer. In London, where Spacey worked for years as the artistic director of the Old Vic theater, various investigations are still ongoing.
