The reality star and activist says that since the man’s conviction, evidence has been found to prove his innocence. According to TMZ, Kim used her contacts to provide legal assistance to the man. His execution is scheduled for November 20. Last month Kim already sent a tweet to the Texas state governor to draw attention to the case. According to TMZ, the brother of the prisoner sent Kim a message in which he said that the family is more grateful for her support than she can ever imagine. Rodney Reed was convicted in 1998 for the murder of 19-year-old Stacey Stites two years earlier. He has always insisted on being innocent. A prisoner has given a testimony that Stacey’s fiancé, who is now detained for another crime, has announced in their cell that he has murdered the young woman. A noble act by Kim, whose career as a criminal lawyer was previously seen as a joke.
