Lizzo touched by Kobe Bryant’s death

1 min read

When she received her third Grammy of the evening, it became Lizzo (31) just too much. The singer, who has received the most nominations for the music prizes this year, shared with the audience that her ‘small problems’ did not represent anything in the drama surrounding Kobe Bryant.

“Let’s make healing music”

After receiving the Best Pop Solo Performance award, she said: “Thank you for this award. This is unexpected and super cool. But when I think about what I was all worried about this week, it is now completely gone and I say you change your priorities. There are now people who grieve, let’s make healing music, music that moves and moves people. ”

Lizzo opened the award show with a tribute to Bryant during her music medley. “I cry for Kobe”, the singer sang. She also won a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance with her song Jerome and for Best Urban Contemporary album, for Cuz I Love You. Lizzo has a chance to win a number of other awards.
