Life Megan Fox: “Children were my salvation” By weekster Posted on September 20, 2019 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ After her role in the 2009 Jennifer’s Body movie, Megan Fox received the status sex symbol, and the actress almost perished. She says that in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “With every child I became a better version of myself” “It didn’t stop with that movie, it happened every day of my life, all the time, with every project I worked on and with every producer I worked with,” says the 33-year-old. “That eventually led to my breaking.” Megan says she preferred to disappear at that time. “I didn’t want to be seen, I didn’t want to be in the picture, not in a magazine or on a red carpet. I didn’t want to be seen in public, because I was always convinced that I would be ridiculed or spit on , or that someone would shout something against me. I really had a mental breakdown, I didn’t want anything anymore. ” Motherhood ultimately proved to be her salvation. “I had to get pregnant to make myself more aware of myself, to open myself up a little more and to see everything from a distance,” she says about her first pregnancy, from son Noah in 2012. The actress and her husband, Brian Austin Green, then became parents of two more sons. “With every child I became a better version of myself,” Megan said of the birth of Bodhi (5) and Journey (3).
