Life Michael can still be found guilty of sexual abuse By weekster Posted on January 4, 2020 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Because a new law has been passed in the US state of California, James Safechuck (41) and Wade Robson (37) can bring their sexual abuse case against Michael Jackson to court. The two claim that they were sexually abused by The King of Pop as a child and therefore went to court. However, the case was time-barred, because there is a law in the United States that states that victims of sexual abuse can report to the courts up to the age of 26. When James and Wade brought their case to court last year, they were 36 and 30 years old, respectively. The new law, which came into effect on January 1, offers victims of sexual abuse the opportunity to report sight up to the age of 40. Michael, who died in 2009, could therefore still be found posthumously guilty of sexual abuse by the court.
