The talk show queen says she is completely on the side of the royals. “I care and support them very much, whatever choice they make for their families” Oprah said in a reaction to Page Six: “I care and support them very much. Whatever choice they make for their families.” The presenter and the duke and duchess of Sussex know each other well. Oprah was even invited to the royal wedding and is a good friend of Meghan’s mother. The talk show host has also given advice to Harry and Meghan. On Oprah’s advice, they had their title ‘Sussex Royal’ recorded as a brand. But she does comment here: “Meg and Harry don’t need my help to know what is best for them.” The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced this week to step back as members of the British royal family. They want to divide their time over the UK and North America in the future. They see a more ‘progressive’ role for themselves. They also want to earn their own money.
