This is apparent from an interview with Vogue India, in which the singer talks about how Orlando supported her in difficult times. “It’s a cleaning process that won’t end” In 2017 and 2018, Katy suffered from a depression that was so severe that she couldn’t get out of bed. The 35-year-old singer says she has never had a partner who was so willing to make an emotional and spiritual journey. “It is a challenge because you are confronted with all the things that you do not like about yourself. It is a cleaning process that will not end,” says the pop star. “I have a partner who is completely focused on finding balance. He also makes a spiritual journey. He is an anchor that holds me. He is not a fan of Katy Perry, but a fan of Katheryn Hudson.” The Pirates of the Caribbean actor asked Katy to marry in February last year. The couple has been together since 2016 and would get married in December, but because the suitable location was not yet found, the date has shifted. Orlando has an 8 year old son with his ex Miranda Kerr.
