Hotelier Barron Hilton died on September 19 at the age of 91. The former reality star called her grandfather “a legend”. “He has always been my hero and my mentor” “Of course I am devastated,” Paris said in the talk show. “We were very close. I am grateful that I was able to see him again. That I could say goodbye and tell him one more time what an impact he had on my life. He has always been my hero and my mentor ” Since her departure from the reality world, Paris has built a successful business. She sells clothing, cosmetics and accessories under her name. She inherited her business instinct from her grandfather, she said in the interview. “I would never be the business woman I am now if I hadn’t learned from him. He taught me how important it was to build something myself. I will honor his memory by continuing to do so.” Barron was the son of Conrad Hilton, the founder of the famous hotel chain. Just like his father once did, Barron announced in 2007 that he would donate 97% of his legacy to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the family’s foundation that supports seven charities worldwide. It would amount to around 3.4 billion dollars (3.1 billion euros).
