Life Patreon takes off the air “R. Kelly’s girlfriend” page Posted on November 27, 2019 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ The paid crowdfunding website Patreon has taken the page from Joycelyn Savage (24), one of the friends of R. Kelly (52), out of the air. The reason for this is that her identity could not be verified, despite several attempts that the platform has made to reach her. The singer’s ex-girlfriend came out for the first time last weekend with her own story, in which she also said she was a victim of the controversial singer. Patreon suspects that there is a hoax. Rolling Stone reports this. Patreon was alerted the day after Joycelyn’s first blog to the fact that the account might have been unauthorized. The company immediately tried to find out if this was correct. And although the site came in contact with a person associated with the account, he was unable to provide identification. On Tuesday afternoon it was decided to take the site offline, after no video evidence was requested that Patreon had requested, in order to establish that Joycelyn is actually the author of the blog. People who had paid money to be able to read the first piece received it back.
