Peter Jan Rens is working to restart of his nineties hit Never give up. He told that on Wednesday in the Veronica Inside program. The 68-year-old Rens claims to have been approached by a producer who is interested in bringing the show back on television next year.

“I’m working on innow,” says Rens. “Someone from the area where I was born says: we are going to set it up again. So we do that and then we see if it will turn out well.” Rens did not want to say whether the program will be shown on SBS. The channel from the Talpa group is now reaping success with old NPO concepts such as Man bites the dog and Lingo.

Never give up was seen in the nineties at the VARA and later RTL. In the show Peter Jan Rens made wishes of children come true.
