During the E! People’s Choice Awards has been awarded Pink with the People’s Champion Award. The singer was awarded this prize for her work for various organizations such as No Kid Hungry, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Planned Parenthood, REVERB, Austin Speaks, the Human Rights Campaign and her role as UNICEF ambassador. This reports E! News.

“I am just a crazy guy from Doylestown and I managed to make a little change”

“It is an incredible honor to get this award. I grew up in a family of activists, but I also know that one person can make a big difference. Just think of Martin Luther King Kr., Rosa Parks, Nelson Mandela, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Malala Yousafzai or Greta Thunberg. I am just a madman from Doylestown and I have also succeeded in making a little change. And so much still needs to be done, “Pink said in her acceptance speech.

The singer continued: “I care about children, I care about norms and values, I care about politeness and being nice to each other. Nowadays it seems that being nice is a form of rebellion. Help people who are not as good as you “Help the planet. It feels good to help. Stop fighting and call on your friends to improve and change the world together.”
