Life Quentin Tarantino still sees Kill Bill 3 to be filmed Posted on December 12, 2019 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Quentin Tarantino has not yet abandoned the plan for a third film in his Kill Bill series. The director informed Tuesday in a radio interview with Andy Cohen that he now has an idea that he would like to bring to the silver screen. “I didn’t want to come up with anything ridiculous, she doesn’t deserve that” “I now know what I would like to do with it,” said the filmmaker. “That was the whole point, coming to a storyline about what has happened to The Bride since the last film. I didn’t want to come up with anything ridiculous, she doesn’t deserve it. The Bride fought too hard and too long for that.” Tarantino said he discussed his idea the night before the interview with Uma Thurman, who played The Bride in the first two Kill Bill films. That character is a hired assassin who, after being in a coma for a few years, wakes up and takes revenge on the former colleagues who tried to kill her. Earlier the director indicated that he wanted to make a third film that revolves around the now grown-up daughter of one of those former colleagues, Vernita Green. He did not let the interview know on Tuesday whether that is still the plan. He did state that if he makes a third film, he will only start using it in three years. Tarantino has always said to stop after ten films. His ninth, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, came out last summer.
