Kelly (52) to no longer stay in an isolation cell in prison has been granted. According to his lawyer, the singer suspected of sexual abuse of minors moved to a regular cell on Tuesday. However, prosecutors in his case state that Kelly stayed in a closed part of the penitentiary at his own request. He initially sat there alone, but later had a cellmate. He would not have lived in isolation for the last three weeks. They would also never have objected to his move to a normal cell, and immediately had the paperwork in order. The singer’s lawyer informs TMZ that various safety measures have been taken now that the musician is moving among other prisoners. That would be because abuse suspects are not always safe in prisons. Now that he is no longer staying in an isolation wing.
