Life Remake of Honey, I Shrunk The Kids soon in the cinema By weekster Posted on December 9, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Director Joe Johnston is going to reboot his own film Honey, I Shrunk The Kids from 1989. Variety reports that. The film follows the now mature son of the scientist who accidentally lets his children shrink due to one of his inventions. Josh Gad, known as the voice of snowman Olaf from Frozen, plays the son. A logical choice, because the actor is partly responsible for the reboot of the family film. He went to Disney several times with that idea. It is not yet clear when Honey, I Shrunk The Kids 2.0. in the cinemas. It seems unlikely that Rick Moranis, who played the lead role of the inventor, will return. The actor, also known from films such as Ghostbusters and Parenthood, retired in the late nineties to fully take care of their children after the death of his wife. He did, however, occasionally vote. Honey, I Shrunk The Kids got the sequel in 1992 Honey, I Blew Up the Kid and successor Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves in 1997. It was also made into a TV series.
