Life Robbie Williams: “Time for Change will not be a Christmas stunner” By weekster Posted on December 3, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Robbie Williams (45) does not believe that his Christmas song Time for Change will be the Christmas cracker this year. The 45-year-old singer says this in a conversation with the British weekly Music Week. “It will be difficult to even finish in the top 20” Robbie thinks that his single has no chance of getting to the top, because times have changed. “If we were still in a time where people were buying records, I would still have a chance for the top position. But my audience is not streaming, so it will be very difficult to even end up in the top 20.” In 2001 the singer did succeed in getting a single at number 1 on Christmas. His duet with Nicole Kidman, Something Stupid, was at the top of the charts. In Great Britain it is a great honor to be number 1 during Christmas. For years, the greatest artists have been fighting in December to get their song on top.
