Life Singapore scrapes scene with kissing women from Star Wars By weekster Posted on December 24, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Visitors to the new Star Wars movie The Rise Of Skywalker don’t see two female characters kissing in Singapore. In the Asian country, the short scene has been cut out of the film, the BBC reports. The film shows briefly how two ladies give each other a kiss. It is the first kiss between two people of the same sex in the entire Star Wars franchise. The fragment was taken from The Rise Of Skywalker in Singapore so that the viewfinder did not have to be adjusted. Without the scene in question, visitors can go to the movies from the age of thirteen. It is not known what the age limit would be. Earlier films with love scenes between two men were only shown to people over 21 in the cinemas in Singapore. The scene in the United Arab Emirates is said to have been taken from Star Wars. Whether Disney also had to make adjustments in other countries is unknown.
