Life Taylor Swift manager gets deadly threats Posted on November 23, 2019 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Music boss Scooter Braun says he received death threats because of his fight with Taylor Swift. The two have been arguing for months about the rights of the singer’s old work. Scooter made a call on Instagram to Taylor to make peace. In his post he also placed one of the death threats he had received via Twitter. According to Scooter, his wife was also threatened and that was reason for him to contact the singer through social media. Earlier this year, he had called on her Instagram followers to let Scooter know what they thought of the issue. “I suppose this was not your intention, but it is important that you understand that your words have an enormous impact and that your message is interpreted in some ways by some,” wrote the music boss. The fight has been going on for a while. Scooter bought the Big Machine Group record label earlier this year. That has the rights of the first six albums of Taylor. The dispute was about old songs that the singer wanted to perform during the American Music Awards (AMA) on Sunday. Taylor would not have received permission for that and she was furious about it.
