Kennedy died on 1 August. The Massachusetts police have since confirmed that the cause of Saoirse’s death was an overdose of drugs. The 22-year-old was found in the Kennedy family home in Hyannis Port and was immediately taken to the hospital. Shortly thereafter it was confirmed that she had died. Saoirse is the daughter of Courtney Kennedy Hill and Paul Hill and the granddaughter of 91-year-old matriarch Ethel Kennedy. In the 22-year-old women, methadone, fluoxetine, norfluoxetine, diazepam, nordiazepam and alcohol were found by the police.
