Life Trump returns Nickelback to old ratings By weekster Posted on October 8, 2019 1 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Nickelback’s song Photograph is much more streamed after the band had a tweet from Donald Trump removed in which the song was used. According to Billboard, Photograph was listened to 38 percent more online after the fuss. Trump attacked former vice president Joe Biden on Twitter by sharing a meme where the song could be heard. Nickelback did not like that and reported the tweet based on copyright infringement of the writers. The Canadian rock band has not commented on the action of Trump. According to Billboard, the streaming weekly figures that became known on Sunday show that the song was listened to 772,000 times on platforms such as YouTube, Apple Music and Spotify in the two days after the president’s tweet, while in the two days before that had happened 558,000 times. The followers of Trump who listened to the song before the tweet was deleted are not included: the figures do not relate to video streams on Twitter.
