The heirs of the singer who died in 2016 reacted angrily via Twitter. “President Trump played Prince ‘Purple Rain tonight at an event in Minneapolis” “President Trump played Prince ‘Purple Rain tonight at an event in Minneapolis, despite the fact that he confirmed a year ago that he would no longer use Prince’ music,” a report on Twitter said. The heirs added the confirmation letter from Trump’s lawyer dated 15 October 2018. It states that Trump would never again use Purple Rain or another Prince number.
