In this one-off concert, the grande dame of Dutch music recalls memories of her more than 60-year career with the audience. Willeke will perform her own hits, duets she sang with her father Willy Alberti and the Dutch-language classics that still inspire her and many others. During the concert, the singer is accompanied by her own band led by Peter van der Zwaag and invites a number of guest artists for this special evening. Earlier Willeke celebrated her anniversary with two shows in AFAS Live. Her extensive repertoire includes songs such as Every Time Again, Mirror Image, Together Being, Uncle Jan and the memorable duets with her father such as The Smile of a Child and Nobody Leave His Own Child Alone. During her rich musical career, Willeke Alberti has received numerous awards. In addition to various gold and platinum plates, she received an Edison, the Gouden Harp, the Gouden Televizier-Ring and the Majoor Bosshardt Prize. In 1996 she was named Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau.
