His persistent breathing problems force him “to take better care of himself,” the 86-year-old told television channel KSAT. “I have used my lungs quite a bit in the past” “I’ve used my lungs quite a bit in the past. Breathing is a little harder these days, so I have to be careful,” said Willie, who is still touring. He also does not intend to stop this soon. “I love the tour bus, that’s my home,” says the singer. “The public gives me a lot of positive energy, and I hope I give it back to them.” Last summer Willie had to interrupt his tour due to his lung problems. Earlier this year he broke off a concert after a few minutes because he had difficulty breathing. In the interview, the singer does not tell if he just stops smoking weed or if he completely renounces the drug.
