Life Woody Allen’s son asks a friend to marry him in a playful way By weekster Posted on October 17, 2019 2 min read Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Ronan Farrow (31), the son of director Woody Allen (83), is engaged to his friend. He did that in a special way, Page Six reports. “He found my proposal in the book and said of course I want to marry you” The journalist, whose articles about Harvey Weinstein in The New Yorker in 2017 told women that they had been abused by the Hollywood producer, recently released a book, Catch and Kill. In this book he reveals the extreme tactics that Weinstein used to prevent him from publishing about his sexual misconduct. Ronan read the first version of the then unpublished book to his friend. On the inside he placed a personal text: “Getting married? On the moon or else here on earth.” “The latter referred to a joke we always make about getting married on the moon. He found my proposal in the book and said I want to marry you,” said Ronan, who usually keeps his relationship fairly private. The 31-year-old and 37-year-old Jon Lovett met in 2011, just after Jon had stopped as a copywriter for the then President Barack Obama.
