After weeks of beta testing, the long awaited Android 9 Pie OS update is ready for the Samsung Galaxy S9, meaning some users of the S9 and Samsung S9 Plus can now download the new operating system. Right now, the update is only available in the following countries: Germany, Switzerland, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, and Turkey – however, it is in the process of being rolled out to the rest of the world, with the update expected to land globally in January 2019. So, if you’re in the UK, US, or Australia, you shouldn’t have too long to wait to get your hands on the update for your Galaxy S9 or S9+ – although exact timings are yet to be confirmed.
