ABN AMRO increases the size of its investment fund ABN AMRO Ventures from EUR 100 million to EUR 150 million. Through this fund, the bank invests in companies engaged in fintech and digital banking.

It is the third time that ABN AMRO has invested more capital in the investment branch since its inception in October 2015. According to the bank, this underlines the ambition to further transform the bank digitally, as well as the growth potential that ABN AMRO Ventures sees in fintech.

Since the fund was launched, a total of 15 innovative companies have been invested. This year, six new companies were added to the portfolio and four more investments were added, according to the bank.
