ABN AMRO is putting money into NorSun in Norway via its Energy Transition Fund (ETF). That company develops and produces parts for solar cells that are mainly used in solar panels. NorSun was looking for investors to expand its production capacity and develop new technologies. Together with investor Nysnø, ETF becomes one of the larger shareholders of the Norwegians. It is not known how much ETF will ultimately invest in NorSun. ABN AMRO offers companies active in the energy transition via ETF the opportunity to raise risk capital and to achieve further growth. Generally, this involves investments between € 10 million and € 25 million.
