Retail sales in Great Britain rose by 0.9 percent on a monthly basis in June. The British Statistical Office reported this. There was a decrease here in the previous two months.

Economists generally predicted a fall in sales of 0.2 percent. Sales by British retailers fell by a revised 0.4 percent in May.
