The pace of economic recovery in France is slowing down. This is reflected in a report by the Central bank of France. In July, economic activity was 7% below the normal level. That was 9% a month earlier. A similar level is expected for August as in July, or a marginal improvement. The monthly report of the French central bank confirms an earlier forecast that the recovery, after a leap in May by lifting corona measures, will continue steadily. Forecasts for services and industry, among others, suggest a stabilization of growth in August. The construction sector appears to be improving slightly this month, with activities approaching the level of the crisis.
